It is situated in the Dandenong Ranges and only 55 km east of Melbourne CBD, which makes this an ideal starting point for living in Australia. The town Monbulk has a large supermarket and a variety of clothing shops, bakers, and takeaway’s, hairdressers, Real Estate's, banks, schools, churches, doctors and allied health, sporting facilities and a swimming pool.
The Dandenong Ranges offers you a variety of restaurants, beautiful barbecue and picnic spots and an extensive network of tracks of the Dandenong Ranges National Park. Ideal for nature lovers .
Silvan is also close to Lilydale (approx 15 min drive) which provides more shopping and a bus/train station. It is also the gateway to the Yarra Ranges with its many wineries, an Australian wildlife park and many other tourist spots.
